"I wanted to find a way to make the process of purchasing art fun, easy and less intimidating for people. That's when the idea for OneArtSource was born," Lennon explained.
Lennon, who previously worked as an artist representative including work for her mother (Valerie Lennon, a nationally known painter), began thinking of ways to bring unique, quality art to a larger number of people.
The 30 + years Atlanta resident enjoys traveling to museums around the country and studying various forms of art, including paintings, ceramics, sculpture, prints, photography and collage. Through her travels and experiences, Lennon realized how many people want to have beautiful art in their home or offices but are intimidated by the art world. Her ideas and observations grew into an online art gallery that allows people to view, learn about and purchase artwork from the comfort of their homes or offices.
OneArtSource.com, launched this month, features a wide array of artwork from both well- and lesser-known artists, in a variety of themes, styles, techniques, sizes and prices. Prices start at $60 and range as high as $6,000. Options also include commissioned artwork.
Tying her past and present careers together, Lennon's mother's work is also exhibited on OneArtSource.com, along with the 30 other artists featuring their work on the site. But Lennon feels that having her mother's paintings featured on OneArtSource.com is a tribute to the people who gave her a strong appreciation for art.
"My parents exposed me to art from the time I was young. Now, I love all types of art, from Impressionism to folk art," said Lennon. "Although I have never really taken an art class, I did make a clay rendition of the headmaster of my school in the seventh grade. I'm not sure he appreciated it, but it was one form of expression," she added with a laugh.
When not searching for new artists to expand her gallery, Lennon, a resident of Midtown Atlanta, enjoys her career as a real estate agent with Dwellings, Inc.

ATLANTA, May 25, 2006 – OneArtSource.com has turned five years old and the online fine art gallery has plenty of reasons to celebrate. Since its debut, OneArtSource.com has become one of the top Atlanta-based online art galleries, expanding beyond its Georgia roots to service customers throughout North America, Europe and the Middle East. Today, the Web site represents more than 110 artists, with more than 1,200 pieces of fine artwork available.

As opposed to a traditional gallery, where a select number of artists and works are usually represented, OneArtSource.com gives customers access to an expansive selection of artists in a number of different disciplines. The site has paintings, sculpture, prints, photography, collage, pottery and more. Visitors can click on any of these disciplines or a particular artist name to browse the art, or they can view works based on the different techniques used such as acrylics, watercolor, pencil, oil, tapestry or mixed media. Inventory is on a continual rotation so when a guest visits the site, there are always new items available. These new items are often featured in the What’s New section. OneArtSource also maintains a list of artists who do commission work.
